Carpet Water Damage






Carpet Water Damage -When faced with floor damaged carpets and rugs, recommendations for cleaning or replacement depend on the pollution level of the water and the length of time the carpet or rugs were full. Unsanitary water contains organisms that can infect carpets and rugs and cause health and safety problems. Clean water can include broken water lines, bath, basin and overflow with no containments or rainwater. "Grey water" or unsanitary water, may include discharge from dishwashers or washing machines, hole water beds, or broken aquariums.

If  Carpet Water Damage from a clean water source and can be identified within 48 hours, then cleaning the carpet itself is an option. If water damage from a gray or black water source, call a professional.
